WHAT: Viewing broadcast of the presidential inauguration and discussion of its significance. Students and members of the University of Chicago community are invited.
WHERE: Television screens will be available in the main dining hall and student lounge of Reynolds Club, 1135 E. 57th St. The discussion will take place in the adjacent Mandel Hall.
WHEN: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Reynolds Club; Mandel Hall will open at 9 a.m., with discussion at 10 and ceremony viewing beginning at 10:30. Additional discussion will follow.
WHO: Robert Gooding-Williams, Professor of Political Science at the University of Chicago, and Charles Branham, history teacher at the University of Chicago LaboratorySchools and Senior Historian at the DuSable Museum of African American History, will lead the discussion.
