How will recent events across the world affect the economy in 2025? Renowned scholars from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business will tackle that question during this year’s Economic Outlook events in Chicago and New York on Dec. 3-4.
This year’s events, entitled “Risks and Opportunities: The Impact of Geopolitics and the Fed on the Economy,” will feature discussions with Profs. Randall S. Kroszner, Yueran Ma and Raghuram Rajan. They will examine topics including the potential impact of inflation, higher interest rates, deficits, the 2024 presidential election and relations with China. Kathleen Hays, the founder and editor-in-chief of Central Bank Central, will serve as moderator.
Established in 1954, the Economic Outlook series is a renowned tradition at Chicago Booth, in which some of the nation’s leading scholars confront the future, evaluate emerging trends, and share key insights that help reframe our understanding of the world to come.
