Freedom of expression

The University of Chicago is at the forefront of a national conversation about freedom of speech and expression on college campuses. A 2015 report by a committee of UChicago faculty members articulated the University’s “overarching commitment to free, robust, and uninhibited debate and deliberation among all members of the University’s community.” The report has become a model for universities and colleges across the world.
