Candice Norcott

Candice Norcott, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist, whose clinical interests include gender-responsive, trauma-informed service delivery; adolescent mental health and wellness; reproductive health and justice; and behavioral medicine integration. Her research interests include the development of group interventions to impact sexual health behavior and relational competence in adolescent girls; the adaptation of behavioral interventions for use in the medical setting; training other health professionals in the use of brief interventions and trauma-informed care; and the examination of the effectiveness of these interventions for improving access, well-being, and other relevant medical outcomes for pediatric/adolescent gynecological care. 

She has developed, and now implements, integrated behavioral health services in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Section of Family Planning and Contraceptive Research.
