On May 18, 2017, the University of Chicago held a community meeting to provide its five-year update to Woodlawn Avenue Plan Sub-Area O for properties in the 5700 block of South Woodlawn Avenue and 5757 South University:

On April 24, 2013, the University of Chicago filed an amendment to Institutional Planned Development #43.

On January 10, 2013, The University of Chicago filed an amendment to Institutional Planned Development #43.

On March 14, 2012 Chicago City Council approved an amendment to Institutional Planned Development #43.
