Augusta Read Thomas redefines the opera genre with Nicole Paris
Grammy-winning composer Augusta Read Thomas has created a new opera that features acclaimed beatboxer Nicole Paris. Entitled Sweet Potato Kicks the Sun, the original work debuts Oct. 26 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
