Jonathan Dingel is an associate professor of economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research.

Assoc. Prof. Dingel studies international trade, urban economics, and economic geography. His research interests include the geographic distributions of human capital, industries, and occupations. In recent research, he has studied quality specialization in U.S. manufacturing, segregation of urban consumption, and how the global climate affects agricultural trade.
