Fatemeh Momeni

Fatemeh Momeni is an applied microeconomist whose research focuses on the areas of labor and education. In her role as a Research Director for the Education Lab, Fatemeh provides scientific direction to a portfolio of education research projects studying programs designed to reduce academic and socio-emotional disparities for youth in the US.

Prior to joining the Education Lab, she was a postdoctoral scholar in Economics at the University of Chicago Economics Department and Chicago Experiments Initiative. She obtained her Ph.D. in economics in 2015 from Purdue University.
