Allison H. Bartlett

Allison H. Bartlett specializes in the medical management of acute and chronic infectious diseases. She also is working to improve the safety and efficacy of antibiotic use in children. Dr. Bartlett's research focuses on understanding how and why children process anti-fungal medication differently than adults, in order to determine the best way to treat children with serious fungal infections.

A dedicated educator, Dr. Bartlett mentors clinical fellows, pediatrics residents and medical students, and gives lectures at national and international conferences on staph infections, influenza, multi-drug resistant organisms and other infectious diseases. Dr. Bartlett is also an associate medical director at UChicago Medicine's Infection Control Program.
