How can the science of child development and well-being be integrated into policy and practice? This Chapin Hall Child and Family Policy Forum explored the connection between healthy child development and well-being, provided several frameworks for understanding the domains and measurable indicators of well-being, and considered steps that can be taken to improve well-being and developmental functioning. The panel included Anthony Biglan, Senior Scientist, Oregon Research Institute; Barbara Langford, Director, Youth Transitions Funders Group; Roger Weissberg, President and CEO, Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning; and Bryan Samuels, Executive Director, Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago.
