The 514th Convocation of the University of Chicago was held on Friday, March 22, 2013, in Rockefeller Memorial Chapel. All graduating candidates for the winter quarter were invited to participate in this ceremony, during which President Robert J. Zimmer conferred degrees and presented each graduate with his or her diploma. The convocation address, “In Retrospect,” was given by Richard A. Rosengarten, associate professor of religion and literature in the Divinity School at the University of Chicago.
