Suchi Bansal

Suchi Bansal, MPH, is a senior researcher at The Center for Interdisciplinary Inquiry and Innovation in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Ci3) at the University of Chicago. Suchi leads Ci3’s global health initiative, Kissa Kahani, which uses research, multimedia, and storytelling to educate Indian adolescents about reproductive health and family planning, emphasizing the value of education and financial autonomy for girls.

Suchi is a skilled qualitative researcher and specializes in developing and implementing research initiatives to better understand and help improve menstruation/menstrual hygiene practices, family planning, and sexual harassment prevention among Indian women and girls. Through her work, she’s committed to elevating the voices of young people to address their sexual and reproductive health needs.

As a global scholar, Suchi was named among the winners of the 2019 "120 Under 40" award from the Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health.
