Azeem M. Shaikh has taught at the University of Chicago since 2007. Since receiving his PhD in 2006, Shaikh has received several recognitions for his research, including the Dennis J. Aigner award.

Shaikh’s primary interests include econometric theory, including partially identified models and multiple testing, among other areas. Shaikh is an associate editor of the Econometrics Journal, a referee for numerous journals in the fields of statistics and econometrics and a frequent econometrics speaker at conferences and universities around the United States and overseas.
