Business Standard Chairman, T.N. Ninan and Associate Dean of Global Outreach at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, William Kooser held an Interactive Session around T.N. Ninan's latest book- "The Turn of the Tortoise", a broad-canvas yet detailed look at India’s performance and prospects in the context of contemporary debates and addresses questions such as Why the economy lost steam, emerging trends in politics, the Chinese shadow over India, and the relationship between the state and the citizen.
During almost a quarter century at the helm of different publications, T.N. Ninan was the editor of Business Standard (also its publisher from 1996), the Economic Times and Business World, bringing about radical change and achieving rapid growth in all of them during his stewardship. He was also the executive editor at India Today in the 1980s, and for many years a television commentator on economic and business issues.
