The exciting, gala Woodlawn Great Conversations distinguished lecture series--a new collaboration with the AKArama Foundation--launched with a lecture by Prof. Thomas C. The event also featured an exhibition by local historian Bernard Turner of historical photos of Chicago's South Side. Future lectures in the series will feature, on Nov. 16, Kenneth Warren, Fairfax M.
