University of Chicago's 27th annual MLK Commemoration Celebration features a keynote address by Bryan Stevenson, founder and executive director of the Equal Justice Intiative, professor of law at New York University, and author of "Just Mercy." The program also includes performances by the Chicago Children's Choir. This year's theme, "Why must we continue to sing this song?," was developed by the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. As we honor the life and legacy of Dr. King, Stevenson urges us to use our voices to advance racial justice and equity in all its forms.
