The sold-out University of Chicago Institute of Politics event with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan will begin as planned at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 2 at Mandel Hall.
The discussion with Kagan and IOP Director David Axelrod will be webcast live for any who are unable to attend. You may view the webcast here.
Starting time will not be affected by the heavy snowfall in the Chicago area on Feb. 1. The University of Chicago will remain open and will hold classes on Feb. 2. University leaders encourage all faculty, students and staff to use caution as they make their way to classes and work.
Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for check-in and seating. No signs or large bags will be permitted in Mandel Hall. Anyone who registered online but cannot attend may cancel the registration on Eventbrite.
