The Office of the University of Chicago Registrar will move as of April 29 from the Administration building to the University of Chicago Press building.
The Registrar’s office will close its current location on Friday, April 26 and reopen Monday, April 29 in the Press building at 1427 E. 60th St.
The office will continue to expand its online services, which already are the chief registration resource for students and faculty. In addition, details are being finalized for a centrally located Registrar service desk.
Students are encouraged to use the MyUChicago web portal to access student and academic information. The newly expanded Class Schedule & Registration site offers course descriptions, course evaluations, time schedules and registration services. Faculty members can retrieve their class lists and grade rosters online through Faculty Access.
“We are excited to settle into our new space and continue the high-quality service that our community has come to trust,” said University Registrar Scott Campbell. “We have worked hard to ensure that the student and faculty experience will remain the same thanks to our expansive online tools and plans for a Registrar service desk close to the heart of campus.”
The Registrar will continue to operate during its normal business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Registrar’s office will be reachable at 773-702-7891 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
