NORC open house to feature its research collaborations with faculty, students

Faculty and graduate students are invited to learn more about the collaborations among researchers and NORC at a campus open house poster session from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, in NORC’s recently renovated facilities at 1155 E. 60th St.

The poster sessions, to be held on the second and third floors, will cover a range of projects, including the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth, the General Social Survey and an Impact Evaluation of Argonne National Laboratory. Other topics range from projects dealing with health, survey methods and human behavior.

A reception will follow the open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the second floor. Additional information is available by contacting Mac Ragan at (773) 256-6235 or ragan-mac@norc.org.

NORC has worked with the University since 1941 to examine society’s most pressing challenges. Faculty members serve on the NORC board, while NORC surveys have powered countless faculty and graduate student research projects.
