William M. Landes has written numerous articles on the application of economics to law. These have dealt with torts, the courts, criminal procedure, private enforcement of law, the independent judiciary, legal precedent, antitrust, intellectual property, and art law.Landes is currently engaged in economic studies of intellectual property, legal decision-making, and art law. He teaches courses and seminars in law and economics, intellectual property, and art law.
