Michael Geyer

Michael Geyer is the co-author of Shattered Past: Reconstructing German Histories, a reflection on the nature of modern German history. His recent work has focused on the history of globalization, leading to a forthcoming book on The Global Condition in the Long 20th Century. He is co-editor with Sheila Fitzpatrick of Beyond Totalitarianism: Stalinism and Nazism Compared. He developed a core class in the College: Globalization and World History. He is a co-founder of the University's Human Rights Program.
