Biography
Jeffrey Grogger specializes in labor economics, applied microeconomics, applied econometrics, and the economics of crime.His recent work has examined the effects of welfare time limits and racial profiling.Grogger is the coeditor of the Journal of Human Resources, and an associate editor for the Journal of Population Economics.He is also a member of the editorial board of Economic Inquiry.Before joining the Harris School, Grogger taught at the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of California, Santa Barbara.Grogger has also been a research fellow in the Office of the Attorney General of the State of California.He is a member of the National Longitudinal Surveys Technical Review Committee, a research associate for the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a research fellow with the Institute for the Study of Labor.
