American Chemical Society honors Donald Levy as inaugural fellow

The American Chemical Society has named the University of Chicago’s Donald Levy to its inaugural class of fellows, honoring him for excellence in chemistry and service to society.

Levy is Vice President for Research and for National Laboratories and the Albert Michelson Distinguished Service Professor in Chemistry.

The ACS will hold a ceremony to honor the 162 inaugural fellows at its fall 2009 annual meeting in Washington, D.C.
