University of Chicago Human Rights Program Teach-in to mark the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights: The Practice of Human Rights: The Next Generation Speaks

On December 10, 1948the United Nations General Assembly approved the UniversalDeclaration on Human Rights. To mark the 60th anniversary ofthe UDHR, the University of Chicago Human Rights Program willpresent a teach-in on Thursday, November 20, 2008.Chicagofaculty and students will present historical, theoretical, andpractical perspectives on the context and legacy of the UDHR.
