University of Chicago Human Rights Program Teach-in to mark the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights: Introduction & Welcome

On December 10, 1948the United Nations General Assembly approved the UniversalDeclaration on Human Rights. To mark the 60th anniversary ofthe UDHR, the University of Chicago Human Rights Program willpresent a teach-in on Thursday, November 20, 2008.Chicagofaculty and students will present historical, theoretical, andpractical perspectives on the context and legacy of the UDHR.
