NORC 70th Anniversary Celebration Keynote Address

Robert Sampson, Henry Ford II Professor in the Social Sciences at Harvard University, delivers the keynote address at the National Opinion Research Center's 70th Anniversary Celebration and Open House on April 28, 2011. Sampson speaks on his work as the Scientific Director of the Project on Human Development in Chicago Neighborhoods and on his new book published by the University of Chicago Press, Great American City: Chicago and the Enduring Neighborhood Effect. Sampson credits the Chicago School of Sociology as an influential force in innovation in social science research methodology.
