Deborah Nelson, Deputy Provost for Graduate Education, moderates a forum on health care sponsored by Graduate Student Affairs on May 31, 2012, in the Kent Chemical Laboratory building. Professor Colleen Grogan at the School of Social Services Administration offers remarks on the current landscape of health care in the United States, followed by a question-and-answer session with a panel of health care experts. The panelists include Dr. Alex Lickerman, Assistant Vice President for Student Health and Counseling Services; Teresa Owens, Dean of Students in the Divinity School; Roschell Porter, Vice President of Audit and Quality Assurance at United Healthcare; and Tom Carter, Account Executive at Willis. In addition to answering questions, the panelists also discuss healthcare issues that specifically concern University of Chicago graduate students. Graduate Student Affairs supports graduate students through the administration and management of fellowships, grants, and academic exchange programs and enhances the graduate student experience through workshops, communications, services and other programs.
