Divinity School Diploma and Hooding Ceremony

The Divinity School Diploma and Hooding Ceremony was held in Bond Chapel on June 9, 2012. Margaret M. Mitchell, dean of the Divinity School, offers opening remarks, followed by welcoming comments from Teresa Owens, dean of students at the Divinity School. According to tradition, graduating students receive their diplomas and Ph.D. recipients are hooded by faculty members of the Divinity School. At the end of the ceremony, Professor Wendy Doniger receives the Faculty Award for Excellence in Graduate Teaching and Mentoring.
