Campaign Strategists: 2012 Explained

Long before Election Day, Hurricane Sandy, the presidential debates, Libya, the 47 percent, the conventions or even the Iowa Caucuses, candidates and their strategists toiled away behind the scenes, mapping a path to victory. On Feb. 5, 2013, the Institute of Politics convened the lead strategists and managers from the Obama and Romney camps for a panel discussion about what went right, what went wrong, and what they learned in the process.
