Beyond Bullying, Marriage, and Military: Race, Radicalism and Queer Politics

While the headlines this year have been dominated by the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, the continuing progress on marriage equality, and a rash of gay teen suicides, the LGBT Q communities continue to fight battles on many fronts with different strategies. Professor Cohen will lead a discussion of the role of a more radical queer politics within and in parallel to more traditional LGBT political strategies.
