The 511th Convocation Address: 'The Life of the Mind and Social Action' - Stephen W. Raudenbush

Professor Stephen W. Raudenbush presents an address entitled "The Life of the Mind and Social Action" at the 511th Convocation held on June 9, 2012, in the Main Quadrangles. Raudenbush is the Lewis Sebring Distinguished Service Professor in the Department of Sociology and the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. He also serves as Chairman of the Committee on Education and Senior Fellow at NORC at the University of Chicago.

Raudenbush is known for his significant contributions to the development of quantitative methods for studying child and youth development within social settings such as classrooms, schools, and neighborhoods.
