Public comments sought for re-accreditation of Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago

The Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago seeks comments from the public about the institute in preparation for its periodic evaluation by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association. The Institute will host a visit Nov. 10-12, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association.

TTI at Chicago opened in 2003 in the University of Chicago Press building to provide graduate education in computer science. Although TTI at Chicago operates independently, it is affiliated with UChicago’s computer science department.

TTI at Chicago has been accredited by the commission since 2009. The team will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet the commission’s criteria for accreditation.

Comments must also be in writing and received by Oct. 10. Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs.
