Community meeting to discuss University’s Planned Development proposal

The University of Chicago invites community members to a public meeting on Wednesday, June 22 to discuss proposed plans to update a Planned Development, a formal City of Chicago document that explains how the University uses its land and what uses are permitted.

The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. in the Assembly Hall at International House, 1414 E. 59th St., and is free and open to the public. Beverages and cookies will be provided. Please RSVP at http://www.uchicago.edu/rsvp/communitymeeting or by calling Mary Ellen Angelucci at (773) 702-6815. 

University officials will be on hand to talk about the goals and the process of the PD along with discussing the long-term vision for the campus. The public is also invited to ask questions.
